Yuan Wang

After a fierce argument with her mother, Madelyn Kean, over college applications, Winnie Irving accidentally travels back to 1988 and meets the young Madelyn. Posing as a cousin, she experiences the hardships of the era while witnessing Madelyn attending night school and the struggles she endures. Using her modern knowledge to help change the past, Winnie returns to the present with a deeper understanding of Madelyn, repairing their relationship across time.
